LEA HIX

I was never one of those kids who knew exactly what they wanted to do, and I am still not an adult who knows exactly what they want to do. Being born into the college town culture of Auburn, Alabama and a high energy family, the one thing I knew was how to enjoy and thrive in whatever I was doing. From a young age I loved being outside, playing sports, and doing anything that kept my mind active. That lifestyle shaped me into the one thing I can say that I will always be and love to be - a problem solver.

I attended Auburn University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Industrial Design. I was given so many great opportunities to sharpen my skills and learn so many new skills. After graduation, I took a job in Oxford, Mississippi managing all of the creative materials for a private jet company. This jump into the professional world taught me how to manage budgets, communicate and negotiate with advertisers, and truly put a company’s mission and language into a tangible brand. From there, I took an opportunity to work for a brand new real estate powerhouse in town, and I was planning on implementing my new found skills in this new company. However, like so many others, I unfortunately was cut short due to the economic downturn of Covid-19.

Since then, I have been reflecting back on the ever looming questions of “What do you want to do? Who do you want to be?” The resounding answer to that has and always will be a problem solver. Now, I am just a problem solver with some strong tools in my belt. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you see the value I can bring to your team.
